| Me and my Valentine |
I know that this is late but its time to tell you all about the worlds best valentine. He is the love of my life and also a big pain in my butt! No I am not talking about my imaginary boyfriend I am talking about my greatest joy, Abu!
I am not going to lie I think that Valentines Day is my least favorite holiday. I am not saying this because I am single and want to whine and blah blah blah. I just think that if you truly love someone you should treat everyday like Valentines. Well I was a strong advocate about this and what not until this year.... at the very end of the day I realized what the real meaning and reason behind Valentines Day.
Its not about celebrating having a husband/wife, boy/girlfriend, or fiance. It's about celebrating the ones that you love and care for the most. When I got home from school I got really sick, I have been getting really bad migraines lately and that day I was hit hard. My mom did her mom thing and took care of me. She gave me my milk and medicine and rubbed my head till I fell asleep. I am seriously the luckiest daughter in the whole world. My mom is the best ever. Well when I woke up my dad had gotten home from work and it was time to give out or valentines gifts and snuggle in and watch a movie. My parents got me a box of resse's peanut butter cups!! My favorite candy of all time!
Well I was still feeling like I got hit my a train but my dad let me snuggle up to him and then my sweet puppy came up and snuggled with me too. That was all I needed, my dog sitting on me, my dad keeping my feet warm, and my mom taking pictures and being the cutest person alive. I haven't felt so loved on a Valentines Day in years.
Last weekend was the Sweetheart dance at my school, which was a freaking blast!! I went with my really good friend Riley. We danced till we could barely walk and then danced some more. We got to let loose and just be kids! I was really grateful for being able to go and have a good time with my friends.

Friends don't get lost in the hub bub and the excitement of the holiday.
Just take a step back and appreciate the simple things in life.
Appreciate your family and your friends. There is nothing more important
in you life.
