WARNING: A Lot of photos
So its been awhile but now I get to tell you about my amazing family/senior trip! We spent 5 days away from home and it was amazing! Don't get me wrong I love being home and stuff but it was still really nice getting away. So we stayed a day in Vegas and it was ridiculously hot! {We walked around anyways} We stayed at Circus Circus, which is one of my favorite hotels! Its a lot of fun and we had a blast. We went and saw the show at Treasure Island {The place with the pirates ships} and it has changed a lot. Parts of it were good but I would have liked to see more action. I didn't really get to see all that well because I was in a wheel chair. The heat wore me out so my brother Jeff pushed me around the strip and the hotel that night. Beside spend 6 or more hours in the car that day our first day was a success!
Day two was more sitting in the car.... Not very fun. But We finally made it to my most favorite place in the US. San Diego!! This place will always have a very special place in my heart. This is where a majority of my childhood happened. I love {my} Sand Diego. Sadly we didn't have time to go to Disneyland :( {sad I know} We did get to go to the beach though and then Old Town! Old Town, San Diego is a little place that is like the old western times. There's this amazing Mexican restaurant there and the mariachi band is amazing. The atmosphere is just so joyous and fun!
Now that I have POTS I love my city so much more because I don't feel sick there. I still have my illness and the symptoms but the are so minor it's like they don't exist. It's a wonderful feeling not to be in pain anymore! The temperature was nice, the weather was even better, and the air was just amazing. I highly recommend that if you have an illness like mine that you try and take a week in San Diego. You'll be happy you did, but you will never want to leave.

On the second day in Cali we went to the San Diego temple! Sorry SLC but it's the most beautiful temple! As little girls we grow up with this fantasy of what our wedding will be like. Every little girl wants to be a princess and have a castle. I am fortunate enough to actually have one {4} within an hours distance from me. Don't get me wrong the Salt Lake temple is beautiful but San Diego's actually makes me feel like a princess! I can't wait to get married in that temple... {fingers crossed}
After we visited the temple we made our way to Knott's Berry Farm!! Besides Disneyland, this is the best theme park you can go to in California!! It's an amazing place and, just like with Disneyland, I grew up going to it! We spent all day there and rode almost half of the roller coasters. Well at least Jeff, Jason, and I. Like in Vegas, to conserve my energy, I was in the wheel chair and Jeff pushed me around. It was nice because we got to cut all of the lines and ride in the front of the ride {almost} every time. It was truly an amazing day. OH! I almost forgot we went to my grandpa's favorite museum that day!!

The next adventure that we embarked on was Venice Beach. That place is so exciting! There is so much that goes on but it's something that you have to experience once in your life time.

It was an amazing trip but it came to an end and we headed back to Utah.Before we left we said our good byes to the ocean and the sand. We also took some sand and shells home with us. ;) We made another stop to Vegas of coarse and this time we looked around more. We went to the Mirage, the Venician, and Caesar's Palace. We looked around inside each hotel and then hit the road.
