So yesterday I had my very first day at my externship! It was a lot of fun and work. I learned so much in just 8 hours and I know I am going to learn more and more as time passes. I was really nervous before I went into the instacare that I am working at {for those who don't know what that is, its a medical facility that people can go to without an appointment and be seen by the doc there.} because I am still just a student and I didn't want to mess up too badly. Since I was working late and it was parent teacher conferences at school I had my mom drive me so right before I went in we said a little prayer that my night would go well.
I am happy to say that it went very well!!! I am so grateful that our prayer was answered and that I have this opportunity to work in a place like this. I really hope that I get hired on over the summer after I get my Medical Assisting endorsement because I really enjoy working in healthcare. It is such a great place to be.
