The priesthood POWER!

So last night I was in bed sleeping and then all of a sudden my body just starts feeling like I have a billion ants crawling in my skin and then my restless leg syndrome kicks in, but not just in my legs... my arms too!! I was like what the heck! So I got up walked around my room a couple times but that didn't work, so I went into the kitchen to get a glass of milk. Just so you know this was at 1 am and I was still waking up so I kept running into walls... I am surprised I didn't wake anybody up. Anyway, nothing was working so I sat in my bed wiggling around and praying asking my Heavenly Father to help calm my body down so I could sleep. I did this for like an hour or so and I wasn't getting anything but the impression to go wake up my sleeping parents and ask for a blessing.

It took me like 5 minutes of arguing with myself whether or not I should do it. I decided to go in, I woke my mom up and told her I needed a blessing. She then woke my dad up... not an easy task because he was on a sleeping pill and was out. She eventually got through to him and I received a very groggy and drugged up blessing. Then I decided that I wanted to stay with my parents through the rest of the night.

Yes that's right, I am almost 19 years old and I slept in my mommy and daddy's room.. deal with it!
Well the blessing worked and I was able to fall asleep 30 minutes later. When we woke up my dad didn't remember a thing and was confused as to why I was asleep in his room. My mom and I told him and everything is all good now.. except me being exhausted. That was my night!

I want to bear you my testimony, I know that Jesus is the Christ and that He lives. He is always there to comfort and guide me. I know that the priesthood is a sacred thing and that it works. It can help perform miracles, hence it being called the priesthood POWER. I am so grateful for having a priesthood worthy father who can perform these wonderful things. I know that families are forever and that I will always be with mine.The church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints is true and I know that for a fact.  I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
